Old School Grand Master
Having bought this last year and waited nearly a month for it to clear customs, I find myself having to cut down the collection.
Since this is still unbuilt, and requiring more time and cash to do it properly, it's the on that has to go.
A rare beast from the torch of legendary framebuilder Ted Wojcik, this was built in '94/'95 for a race across Australia. It boasts three bottle mounts and lower rack mounts.
The frame is 21" seat, c-t, 22.5" actual top tube, c-c and 23" effective tt. Head tube is a tall 5 3/4" for a 1" steerer. There are a number of scratches and scrapes to the paint, some of which were mildly rusty. These have been treated with Kurust and then clear lacquer. Chainsuck is paint only. No metal has been gouged or rearranged. This presents a nicely battle scarred patina, though a respray might be in order if that's your thing. The frame would certainly warrant it since it is solid, with no dents, biffs, bangs or cracks. A freash set of white decals from Ted are included in the price.
The forks are Ritchey Logic, 390mm with a long threaded steerer.
Headset is a minty fresh XTR m900, NOS until I fitted it, but still unused.
Prices are:
Frame £240
Forks £60
Headset £40
Forks and headset will not be sold until the frame is gone, but if anyone wants all three, the price for frame, forks and headset is just £300 posted to UK.
