There is a trick how to get a riser bar into a syncros stem. Put a coin or something metal inside and put the screws in on the downside of the stem, than you clamp the stem a bit open (because of the screw is pushing against the spacers or coin. Et voila it fits!

I feel like it will be impossible to open it enough but I will definitely try this, thanks so much for advice.

well same idea but from the top side. Tried from the bottom but the threaded insert were simply pulling out. So I pondered for a few hours while at work and determined to put nuts under the topside and press from there. Had to really open it up but worked flawlessly.

Looking really mint! What do you think about the flanges at the outer ends of the Oury grips? I wasn’t keen on them and sought out the V2 version

Well to be honest I never really thought about it. I guess once I ride it I'll see if they bother me but aesthetically I may be unsure now that you've pointed them out

I was after some white ones - I uhmm’d and aaaah’d and just couldn’t warm to those flanges - so only choice I had was a V2 which hasn’t the range of colours - here’s the V2 in grey
