'93 DB Sorrento - swap for cake or sweets... - now with pics

Hi all,
I've just acquired an unloved DB Sorrento from I think 1993. Black with blue splatter, True Temper double-butted cromo. 19" C2C, so too big for me to bother with.

Looks mostly original stuff - 200GS, original grips, big fat Avenir saddle. The frame looks in quick good condition, with a few scrapes to the decals, the components look used, surface rust, cables seized, tyres flat, so not a runner, but may clean up well.

Free if you collect from Cornwall, probably not worth posting, but I can if you're desperate.

Wow my first ever bike! Had one when I was 15. Brings back some memories.

Someone should snap this up.......i had one from new and nostalgia aside the frames being made from True Temper ride very well..............shame Diamond Back stopped offering good steel at a good price shortly afterwards ! and went to in house cr-mo which was not a good ride.

I've had a better look at it, and I reckon tyres, tubes, cables, and maybe possibly a front shifter and she'd be ready to roll....

I'll see what's in the spares box - I suspect with a better set of brakes and a replacement shifter she'll make a good pub bike, if nobody else wants to come and pick up...
