93' Clockwork XT Rebuild

I had one of these fine feckers back in the day....and now I do once more, having just bought this frameset from a very nice chap on ebay called James. Over the next few weeks I will be recreating my boyhood and youth companion. She is in need of alot of tlc....which she will have. Any thoughts on where I should get her repainted (I live in E.Midlands) would be appreciated. Also, I have noticed loads of Orange decals available but none of this type/colour???Help!

If you contact Gil on gil@thecycleshed.co.uk he'll sort you out with some decals. I've just bought the same year/colour frame as you and was after some decals. He's got them on file and will do them in the same colour

Does it def need re-painting rather than just touching up / making good?

Hi chaps,

Am really not to sure about the direction of this one.....its all gone abit pinky/purple and gay....what u all think? This does almost replicate my original cwork from the 90's tho.

I have a new pair of dart/smoke on the way....which should help.

Have just got a very interesting quote to chrome the frame, fork, stem & bar....could look cool...even with the gaylord purply shit!

well , ive had a couple of clockworks, think blue over purple may look better, just my preference, though I cant talk though,I had purple Ringles on my orange/white fade back in the day (1991) !
