nipped over to GA cylces today today to see gary, as per usual he had a recent race story to talk about, he's still just a bit handy on a bike!! :shock: he trains with the guys who won the 4 man vets catagory of the RAAM a year ago and is well up there if not winner in the vets cyclocross season of the wessex league down here in the south.
anyway, last week he had done the towpath race which is a retro style event he sort of sponsors. he gives out the prizes etc. this year he decided to do it on his 92 explosif.
it has been modified over the years, it has a cut down seat tube top, all the braze ons have been removed and it has been resprayed by argos although this was done over ten years ago. brakes are avid, gears are a mix of xt shifters and m900 chainset and front mech with a m950/1/2 rear mech the wheels are spinergy xyclone ceramic, it has a Real titanium b/b the bars are titec titanium, king headset, easton post and yes that is a titanium p2 fork!
