Never thought id say this, but shame it doesn't have cartridge bearing hubs and headset :shock: spent about 3 hours so far cleaning and regreasing the cup n cone sets. <Yaaawwwn> could have replaced 3x that amount of cartridges in the same time! Oh well, least its cheap!

Stem is being a bitch too, I've had to get the plusgas on it, the quill has moved but the steerer is gripping the stem like a bear.

All the parts are here now though, so should be riding it within a fortnight

I'll probably ride it to work Tuesday or Wednesday so ill get some pics in daylight.
It ain't pretty close up, it's no resto and it will be used as a pub hack and commuter most of the time, but take a couple of steps back it looks pretty sweet and everything works as it should, so I'm happy

Finally got it out for a ride just now.

Rides nice! Very sure footed like most of the rigid MTBs I've ridden of the era. I felt very comfortable on it.
The budget tyres performed well in all this snow we've had too
