'92 De Rosa SLX

Re:

Brake calipers have arrived and I practically finished the bike last night. :D

It's pouring rain all day long, pics will follow, but here is a preview....

Specs: Drivetrain, brakes and hubs Shimano 600, 8-speed 2. series. HP-6500 headset, HS-6400 stem, PD-6400 pedals, SP-6400-A seatpost, SL-BS64-8 shifters, 105 FD-1055 derailer. 3T Grand Prix bars, Cinelli cork ribbon, Brooks Professional saddle, Connex 808 chain, Mavic MA2 rims.

I was waiting for „new, original packaging“ bars - turned out to be used crappy steel bars in a 3T wrapper, impossible to tell from the picture. There are guys on ebay who stop at nothing

Re:

Yes, and thanks for your hint regarding bars, that pushed me in the right direction.

I didn't read any bike magazines, was only watching Tour De France, and just liked their logo and lettering. And there was a local shop which had them on sale at that time, when steel was „out“ and I grabbed it.

Just found that Gewiss Balan had De Rosa titanium frames. Think there was another one before, but can't remember.

Some final pics.....thanks for watching.

Edit: I don't want to push the thread, but thank you all for the positive comments!
