You lot would have loved being in the car with myself and Heathy on our way to Cannock last month!
We got chatting about our younger days and it turned out we went to loads of the same raves around 91-95 :D
I was lucky enough to attend loads of the big outdoor events around this period, and having Fantazia Summertime land on my doorstep was pretty good.

I've got loads of old tape packs still and plenty in MP3 format too ;)

This is my favorite tune from that era of my life... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXZR66XM ... 786B0351E3
it will forever remind me of the sun coming up (it wasn't just the sun ;) ) at Matchams.
I picked this up on a promo last month, to replace my very well played original.
Best days of my life

effing awesome!
it wouldnt surprise me at all if many more on here went to the same raves and didnt know it!

i was playing streets of rage the other day with my pal

ah yeah they were good days

used to go to helter skelter alot (the guys who started helter skelter used to live in Bloxhan the same village as me 2 streets away)

but my fave place was die hard in leicester
the techno there was mind blowing

also used to go to a lot of exodus raves in luton (the one in the ex sellotape factory was epic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Fan? lol I'm ashamed to admit it but it was my life, I used to DJ, I can remember waiting outside the vinyl shop to get my next white label fix, to get it before everybody else, back when it was tapes more than CD's and if you were really posh you might have a minidisk player

I haven't posted on this thread, but enjoyed reading it.

It would shock my kids to know what I was up to from the mid eighties to mid nineties.

Nuff said.

Played in a couple of half assed banneds at the time, but enjoyed the whole era as a fan more.

:)

When I was 16 I went to my first proper warehouse rave at the Sanctuary in Bletchley.. it was Dreamscape 8 NYE party. Have since found out that the Sanctuary was flattened to make way for a massive Ikea!!

Dreamscape 'Setting the Standard'

RIP Murray Beetson.

Still listen to rave every now and then; the likes of Bukem, Slipmatt, Top Buzz, Dougal, SY etc.

Ahh, the Sanctuary :D Dreamscape 7 was an amazing night there. Hype was on top form and Bukem and Conrad ripped it up.
Went to a few Jungle Fever's there too

I've got loads of the Dreamscape sets in MP3 format. If anyone wants a copy of anything particular then drop me a pm ;)

Another here.

Did a load of Dreamscapes at both Sanctuary and Royal Bath and West, plus some Helter Skelters, Fusion, Perception, United Dance, Southern Style Exposure plus A massive event I forget the name of at Luton Hoo.
Still dig out the stuff from time to time and have a lot of the box sets ripped to MP3 (Dreamscape, United Dance and Dance Planet).
Good times.

Carl.
