90's Marin Stem Cover

Anyone else been looking for a replacement for that lost plastic bung. When I bought my 95 Team Marin from the original owner he was proud to say it was all complete...apart from the little plastic bung that he knew was somewhere along the towpath of the Canal Du Midi in South West France.
For months I have been looking for a solution to the gaping hole that is a perfect mud and water trap and finally I found it. Happy days.

Ha. I had a similar problem to you - as many did.

I’ve got replacement bungs and alternatives too. No surprise the design lasted one year
