I agree that something so small can make a bike look so bad and detract from all the hard work! Luckily you have done a brilliant job and it's nothing a few turns of an allen key won't sort out. Nice work

Yeah, y'know, I never even looked at that. I threw the saddle on before Christmas and have spent ever since focussed on cleaning up the brakes and reassembling the cable system. I haven't sat on the bike since last summer, the saddle position simply didn't register.

Saddle will be corrected by this time tomorrow. :mrgreen:

No, I bought that bike new from F W Evans in Woking in the summer of 1991.

1989 was light grey painted, 1990 light grey zolatone, 1991 dark grey zolatone.

Great effort, love the paint. Only wish I didn't powder coat mine now!
I've got the later year in darker grey. If your sprayer wants another job let me know.
