It's been a long time since I've owned one of these.
I am supposed to be having a massive clearout.....!
Plan is to keep the 'patina', fit an appropriate stem, saddle and shifters.
Bit of air in the rear tyre and make use of it

I think the original bar is on it, white thick walled aluminium.
I am in need of a suitable stem though.
It has full Deore LX fitted apart from the 'orrible modern shifters.
Not sure wether to source Deore LX shifters or run DX thumbies

I'd go thumbies, we all did bitd. Got the turd LX STI on mine but that's only because I wanted to replicate my old bike (which soon had the thumbies off my 89 Tufftrax!).

Just realised I've got some mint LX Sti on a MF Sorcerer Mega sat in the shed!
And i found a set of 7sp XT Sti on my part finished Trek Y carbon.
Amazing what you find when you go for a rummage

Maiden voyage complete.
Just need to source some suitable grips, ideally eventually I will get a white Stalk stem for it aswell.
Ill gently see if I can improve the paint at all but a repaint isn't on the cards at the moment.
