89 DIAMOND BACK FRAMESET..

Just had a great surprise when i started to clean off the dust and 19 years of grime from this...

A recently acquired bargain This is the bike that started it all for me..

Anyways after a bit of rubbing and polishing i started to realise that this frameset as never seen a groupset

The bottom bracket threads are perfect and havent even had a bracket in them..

It is in almost NOS/perfect condition

I was going to build with DEORE DX but i may build it up as a singlespeed to use..Of course ill be putting a TIOGA T-BONE on it and if i can find them, some FARMER JOHNS COUSINS TYRES..

Yep, i cant believe i scored the frame for so little and in ace condition

Nice one for the heads up on the F.J. COUSINS HILTS

Its brought back lots of nostalgic memories..Think i had COSMIC TRAIL bags on my original one

And i carried a full size CAMPAG headset spanner around with me just in case

Yep think it was 1988 AXIS :?: The 1989 AXIS had a white and smokey/crackly black paint job
