88 merlin maiden voyage

rode up mt tam - the maiden voyage - shocked! how fast this thing is - screams uphill - geometry feels very contemporary - fits me like a glove - shifting is spot on - braking - well thats a diff story - prob doesnt help the pads are otiginal 80s compound ; )
downhill...oh boy - i refused to go slow - but i did get the crap beaten out of my mojo sl, 5" travel sheltered body

had them custom made by Rick hunter - i could NOT find a 1" threaded straight fork from that era - non suspension corrected - he used the P2 & koski forks as inspiration
