Beastieboy

Dirt Disciple
88/89 Kona Cinder Cone 18" centre to top
Fairly original example with Mountain LX group set, Deore LX hubs on Araya rims.
When I got it, I took it to bits and degreased, cleaned, regreased and polished everything for a sympathetic resto. Fitted new Panaracer Smoke & Dart tyres along with a vintage Hinault Turbo saddle and ODI roughneck grips. Alongside this I fitted a new cassette and fresh cables so it's ready to enjoy. Running out of space so as this will get the least amount of use, this regrettably has to go. £300 Ono

Price Reduction - Now £200
Only difference from the pictures is that I've replaced the saddle with a San Marco Rolls.

Local to me Paydays looming must resist though because it's an 18 inch frame need an 19 inch frame really 😁
I can pump the tyres up extra hard to make it a bit taller. Get it bought. It was supplied by Denton's so it would be a shame for it to leave the city!

Dangerously close some may say!!! ;)

This was the bike I should have bough back in 1989. I remember looking at one in Schmoo's Cycles in Swansea, but decided against it for some reason. Bought a MBK Hi-Tech Ranger fluro monster which I still loved, but the Cinder Cone was a far better executed frame & forks vs. the old hat MBK... that's hindsight for you! 🤣
