'85 Ritchey

Very nice bike.

I'll look forward to see the bike finished.
I have a pair of those levers but in use :-|

The only thing i would swap is the stem for a ritchey cromoly one... anyway, the bike looks superb

Re:

Cheers. I'm OK now for levers - I have some more Ritchey ones on their way to me.

Regarding the stem - I may well change it at some point. For now the one on there is OK though - it puts the bars in just the right place.

As a side note - I've been trying to find another 1" quill stem for another of my bikes for ages now. It's really hard to find something nice where all the dimensions work with the intended riding position !

Re:

Bike has been together for a few weeks now and has had several rides to shake down. As mentioned previously - this one is for riding not looking at and mrs 311 likes it a lot so job done as far as I'm concerned. :)

One final thing - a big thanks from me to all the members on here who helped out with parts for this bike

Re:

Very cool indeed Paddy .....well done mate...the good lady is very lucky! I particularly like the wheels :D

Re:

Turned out really nice, well done, will be nice and light, the Dmr pedals will be good to ride, but on the heavy side, I can source some nice black caged, polished body, retro style pedals cheap if you want, at around 230g a pair.

Thanks very much.
You're right - the V8's aren't exactly light, but they work well.
Be interesting to see the pedals you're on about though :)

Re:

That's a lovely little machine Paddy. I'm glad you snapped it up as I was getting itchy fingers

It *may* end up for sale again some time soonish as F&F :( It's too small for the lady.
That, and the fact I need to spend a load of cash finishing the Ritchey P29er I'm building myself
