85 Overbury's Peak Finder back from the dead

First proper ride. Very short, uphill needs thought.

Needs narrower bars! A sudden stop. Bike wedged solid. Hopped off back for pic.

A lovely woodland discreet ride. So discreet I was worried about being wiped up on the way home. Suppose i could carry a leery jacket in the pannier

I did have a front mudguard issue with it getting stuck but easily fixed on return.

Re:

Ever get the feeling you've been somewhere before?

Today the BRat got a workout

Spot the bike behind! Rode with a buddy I persuaded to go retro a while back.

Bars and levers arrived. I liked the jaunty cowhorns but think these might be more suitable and an easier ride? The spoon was as the bike was out all night camping and i'm not sure a brooks would like that. Not that anybody out there seems to care..........

Messing around with new setup in woods today. Much improved. Far more responsive and familiar. Will sort the cables and grips now I think i've found the final configuration. Brooks will go back on also.

I enjoyed reading about this ressurection. You had me worried early on when the seastpost wasn't playing ball but it all worked out wonderfully. Looks a very capable and comfortable machine that you aren't afraid to use. Love it!
