Back in the saddle after a few months enforced layoff. Chose the relic as my first ride. Got me Round safely and without fuss. Knew it would.

Onward!

Presently this is my only ride. A great choice with some road biased cx tyres. A few sticky patches meant a bit of walking but mostly up to the job.

Despite this being a ratty tatty mixture it really is an endearing bicycle. Just enough of everything to get me out and about in a very limited capacity.

Couldn’t get avids set up so cheap shims no fitted and took minutes.
Why is the smallest thing always the thing that you know you’ve kept safe? But where?
