82 batavus professional

Retro Newbie
I've just got my hands on an 82 Batavus professional that I'm about to build with parts from another bike. I have some Campagnolo Nuovo record shifters and both front and rear dérailleurs. I was pleased to see some other builds with the same but didn't realise my frame has the older shimano type A boss. I'm not sure if I will be able to modify the boss or even the shifter to get a workable solution. Or swap it the Campagnolo set for a dura ace 7200 set that I've got my eyes on.

I have a shimano 6207 brake set and cranks so the dura ace is really appealing to me.

My question is what is the more desirable gearset between the Campagnolo and dura ace?

Dura Ace for me over Campag every time, shifts much better imo. Please don't shoot me it is only my opinion. :)
I love the look of the dura ace. But would prefer the 1st gen front derailleur with the holes on the outer plate.

I can see this becoming an expensive hobby 😂

Went with the Campagnolo nuovo record gearing in the end. Just had to get the dremel out and make so modifications to the shifter. Drilled a small hole and jb welded a small pin on the inside to act as a stopping pin.

Just need tp get myself some new wheels to finish it off now
