Top job on this one, I wouldn’t paint it as it is perfect as it is, just ride it lots, looks really good!

Cheers, certainly will ride it a lot this summer... the paint job though is a lot rougher than the photo show, so she’s likely to get a good but cheap rattle can job this winter.

If sure you’ll do a top job if you do paint it. Nice work

Chris
if you do rattle can it - try this paint out (not nessesarily this colour) it only lasts a few hours once activated so it is a bit of a one hit wonder but christ does it dry hard

Cheers chaps...

And thanks for the paint nod Spud... I’ve heard of these self mixing in a can wheel paints but not tried them yet.

I'm not going to bother with anything else in future, its premixed with 2k Clearcoat and fook me is it hard as nails after 24hrs....mind you so is whats evers left in the can.
Waited weeks on normal paint to harden and then still polished through it in places exposing the primer underneath which was starting to show through - rather like a phat lass's arse in a tight pair of black leggings and white pants on

they mixed mine as I want Yeti Tourquise Blue RAL 5018 not exactly a popular colour on the custom car scene

That looks really really nice Chris. A good honest usable machine.

I've looked at that paint myself although not tried it yet. Currently I'm using normal paints and putting 2K clear coat over the top after I apply the decals which does seem to be a decent compromise.

The key question is - does it have Isocyanates? If so I really would bother looking elsewhere

To answer my own question, YES 'As this product contains an isocyanate activator built in to the tin, it should be used in a well ventilated area and we advise all relevant P.P.E be worn when using this product.'

Therefore I wouldn't go near it unless you have an airfed mask, which I hazard a guess that most retrobiker's don't have.
You don't mess with your health. https://www.hse.gov.uk/mvr/bodyshop/isocyanates.htm
