80’s Mielle ?

I've never heard of this brand brfore. It seems a good buy and in excellent condition.

Could make for a bargain retro daily rider!

Jim Miele, Mississauga, Ontario. Started building bikes in the mid 80s. It's quite common to see his road bikes still rolling here (one of the guys I raced with had a very nice custom SLX frame by them). The MTBs are a bit less common. The one in the ad is a lugged frame import from National Panasonc in Japan. Company fell on hard times in the 90s and went bankrupt. Jim died in 2003(?) and the company name was sold to the Procycle. Group (who now own Rocky Mountain amongst others).

Picked up a Deore spec. Miele of 86 vintage to replace the ex's stolen bike last week locally for $85
