Wanted 8 Speed Rear Wheel

Not sure if an 8-Speed would fit.

I've got a set of Mavic Ma3 in silver 36h with an 8 speed cassette. Shimano hubs. They're in lovely condition. Includes tyres and new tubes. Genuine matching silver Shimano skewers. Asking £80 for them.

FWIW: 8, 9 and 10 freehubs are all the same (pretty sure 11sp too but you might need a spacer). These will have width 130mm (road) 135mm (mtn/ touring)
126mm hubs (6/7sp) will have splines that will accept the sprockets but are narrower such that you will only get 7 of and 8sp cassette, 8 of a 9sp and 9 of a 10sp on to them

8 sp screw on cassettes apparently cause a lot of axle breakage because the drive side bearings were so far from the dropouts

I'm based just outside Gloucester.

Unfortunately, they're collection only. The cost to send atm would be silly. @ £15. I got caught out with a set last year thinking they would be about £10 and they were just under £15.
