8 speed down tube shifter

As title, 8 speed shimano indexed for brazed on bosses.

Really only need the right hand one, as bike runs single chainring, but understand people may want to sell as a pair

Bike is a clunker, so not wanting to spend new prices.

I have other cassettes I can swap around, so may consider 9 speed if 8 isnt forthcoming

I could have a pair in a week or so.
I've just converted from downtube to brifters. Obviously brifters are somewhat aged and from the Bay of Eeees so I need to do a proper trial run - when the rain and the wind have gone away. If everything works OK on the road then my downtube shifters will be spare.
If you can wait then there may be a pair here. If you find others then don't hang back for my sake.

Hi,
Just got back from a ride with the new set up.
Think I'm happy to let my DT shifters go. They are 105 and you can have either silver or black painted bosses.
Would prefer to shift the pair.
Now to haggle. What are you offering, bearing in mind I'll want more than you want to pay, and vice versa!!!!!

I think haggling is probably better via PMing.

Their value will largely depend on condition and a description and pictures will tell all.

If you have any ideas of a ball park value, that would be most helpful

And if you want swapsies for 105 7 speed, I'm sure we can work something

Hi, just about to post myself.
Just seen a pair on ebay for £50 plus post!!!!!!
I'm sure you wont want to pay that, and I wouldn't be happy asking that much.
I'll go and get some pics and we can start PMs.
