Cheers Rich for your incredibly generous offer- you are a king amongst men!

Well- end of day 3. Going well and I have some pics to post up later if I can get my tinternet conection grafting. All sorted for parts but there is a cloud on the horizon- local news says to expect up to 8 inches of snow in the next 24 hours. The village I live in can be cut off for days, postie won't come a knocking if that's true. Time to cross fingers and ready the shovels then!

Todays big up goes to Jimijazz for sorting the frame and rear mech- would have been good to talk longer but busy busy busy...

Will try the pics later- looking sweet for a rush job.

Si

Even if I do say so myself, that frame does look hot!
Did you get my PM about the headset top cap?

Sorry for no update yesterday, powercut at the workshop and deep snow sent me scurrying home as soon as postie arrived (looking very pissed off and 3 hours late :? )

Anyway all is done and just been out for a blast up and down the track, quick spanner check and its in the van for a 6am start to get to Dalby to try it out.

Huge thanks to Cass, Tenbikes, Doogie, Jimijazz for parts which they got out in record time- huge retro karma being beamed your way guys.

Biggest thanks must go to Huntso though. Even though in the end I did not require his help, he offered the loan of any parts from his bikes to get this project finished, which he was willing to post out on special delivery at the drop of a hat- an incredible jesture I'm sure you will agree! a true star and dude of the week ;)

Well whats it like? Get over to readers wives to have a butchers.....

Thanks all- Will post up pics of its Dalby Debut over the weekend.

Happy riding

Si

Phew,made it then Si :)

Knew you would have it done one way or another, takes me that long to get a bike sorted when I have all the bits, so this will take some beating.
Best thing of all it looks great too and looks like you had it all planned for ages

Thanks for the kind comments  just seemed a shame for you to have no bike for the weekend and I ain't ever gonna wear the spare parts out.
After all that's what this site is all about and the thing that makes it very special, had my fair share of kind gestures from the good retrobike folk :D

Cheers
Rich
