The guys on retros,hats off ,I did say to myself halfway around it would seem like a good day
nice that verns bike made an appearance,the weather is just one of those things we can’t control,bit like life,thanks everyone for making this happen.

Great to see everyone, even if we ended up in different groups, it was a fitting tribute to uncle Vern.

That would have been me and Dave that struggled at the end, more fitness needed for me (more rides needed basically )

But as echoed by others, it was so good to see so many people out to pay tribute to one of the nicest blokes I've ever had the privilege to have known!

Thank you to Vern for bringing a lot of us together, leading us on some absolutely cracking routes and rides, and leaving all of us with some absolutely belting memories
