6 “pin” self extractor tool? Help!

As a rule the 2pin circlip tool is almost never adequate to remove a bicycle part that been exposed to moisture and dirt
The pliers are about 10x better👍
You could use 2 pairs simultaneously...or 3 with a friend.

I would guess if the self extractor is siezed in the crank, then the crank is still on the bike, so you'll need quite a large freezer!
Plumbers freezing spray could do it, although my own experiences with it have always been disappointing.
Has worked for me every time, I can only speak from my own experience and I've had hundreds of bikes, all exposed to weather and use/abuse and lack of care from previous owners. Never had one beat me yet, even when previous owners have tried and failed and left a trail of destruction and ovalised and ruined pin holes in their wake.

A difference might be that we get bikes brought in that have often already defeated the owners attempts.
Those steel bb cups with the slim hexagonal projection, the 2 dog holes or the pin holes haven't been touched for decades, often been out in the rain for a while - in many cases, the disc cutter followed by a hammer and punch is needed to get them moving.
Occasionally a bar welded across the face.
Probably wouldn't bother with the latter any more, because labour and fixed costs have risen, while bicycle values have fallen - the recycling bin may beckon😪

Forget the plusgas, what you want is Bulldog BDX. Even Vivaro injectors quake in fear at the stuff. I have no idea what's in it but it's amazing stuff. XCP is much better than PG and BDX is much better again. Not cheap but it's great stuff.

It’s out!!

Which is more than can be said for the seatpost (USE with the wrong size shim so it’s in tighter than a ducks bum) and the driveside crank bolt, which appears to have a piece of allen key wedged in it.

Bloody bikes. I knew it’d need work when I got it on eBay. Gotta love a challenge.
