Selling my early 1990's Peugeot Optimum 14 (lilac coloured with tribal graphics), mainly because it's the wrong size for me at 58cm, alternatively I'm also open to swapping for a 56cm or 57cm Peugeot, circa 1980s with either a Carbolite 103 or HLE frame, not after anything special just the right sized bike, preferably with eyelets for fitting a rack
The bike will need some attention to the headset other than that it's in amazing condition, with no dents, or damage to the frame whatsoever.
It has Shimano RX100 components throughout
A biopace chainring
A Sportourer x-race saddle
Mavic rims laced to RX100 hubs
A brand new Cinelli 1A 90mm stem (all torqued up correctly)
Brand new Cinelli Giro D'Italia '65 handlebars 40cm (all torqued up correctly)
Michelin Dynamic classic amber walled tyre 700c x 25
I've a box of Cinelli splash tape in suitably '90s chic colours that I'll throw in.
I'm not sure how popular early '90s era bikes are? I just want rid of it and it to go to someone who'll appreciate and get a lot of use out of it.
I might have to supply pictures on request because I'm having trouble uploading them to this site sorry.
I'm looking for about £200 for it but I'm open to offers or a straight swap for a more suitable sized bike.
