58cm 531 Woodrup complete bike with Campag, Suntour and DA

I just picked this up today and unfortunately it's too big for me.

It's a 531 Woodrup with 58cm seat tube (centre to top) and 56cm top tube. It was sold to me as a 56…..which it isn't!

It looks like an 80's frame to me, with a 90's paint job by Mike Price cycles of Kent in a nice blue and white fade (decals are Mike Price). It has Woodrup embossed seat stay eyes so pretty obvious what it is - I've contacted Kevin Sayles at Woodrup to check out its history.

It has mudguard eyes, down tube shifter bosses, double bottle bosses and really nice short point lugs with cutouts. It also, unfortunately, comes with a non-structural dent on the top tube and some scuffs and scratches and very minor rust. It doesn't need a respray though - good as is and the worst of the scuffs could easily be patched up.

It's built with some nice stuff:

Campag Athena headset
Cinelli 1a stem and 64 bars
Nervar chainset (left hand crank has threaded pedal threads so a new crank is already on its way)
Dura Ace front mech
Suntour Radius Rear mech
Suntour Radius indexed downtube shifters
Dia Compe aero brake levers
Weinmann brake callipers
Unknown hubs on Weinmann rims with Michelin World Tour 700c tyres in good nick

All cable inners are new. Brake blocks are new. Shifting is really crisp. I've got some brand new blue Deda cork tape to go on it.

It will come with a nice Specialized pump and two Topeak bottle cages and some options on pedals (flats, spd-sl's or spd's).

It's pretty light and I think would make a perfect commuter or winter bike, especially if you shoved some guards on there.

I can do it for £150 plus postage with all the bits above.

Pics to follow in next day or so when new crank arrives and I've put the new tape on there, but pm me in the meantime if interested.

Re:

OK, given the interest, I've attached some photos below - bear in mind, these are as is without the new crank (not arrived yet, so no left crank in the pic!) and without the bar tape and bottle cages fitted - nevertheless, it gives you the idea!
