512 in Knightsbridge, London

I have played one of Hendrix's guitars.

Pretty similar experience.

That Ferrari Pat threw in is the kind of car I still dream about.

That McLaren looks like a Hyundai. Or whatever the latest probe/cougar modeo-based thing is. Not it's fault I suppose, I just relatively rarely get excited by the look of modern cars. Where's the character? The soul?

That 512, on the other hand, is all kinds of pretty. Could look at that for hours.

Nearly snapped my neck as I cycled up towards Hyde Park and saw this in the Ferrari showroom on Friday...

Nice looking motor, but that cup holder is useless there!!

Not at all.

The fine gentleman, in repose, may quaff a G&T while waiting for the RAC to fix his Ferrari. He should have known not to exceed thirty miles from home in such a sensitive beast.

Wow! Senna's 1988 McLaren. Stunning.
I've touched that...
Me too.

Factory visit - and the only place you were allowed to take photos was in the "trophy" room, where they had it on display with several other cars (including a car they ran at the Indy 500, I think).

Yes, that was the Indy car. The old trophy room was quite a place with all of the old cars hanging around.

They were sort of hung in a corkscrew manner, I think starting with one at 90 degrees to a wall / window, weren't they? The last one (a then current-ish F1 car) was just flat on the floor, I think - it's been a while, at a guess around 2002 / 2003.
