5 speed freewheel question

I have two 14-28 screw-on freewheels. Shimano says 'index', Sun Tour doesn't. I'll be running a single chainring with friction shifting at the back. Does it matter which freewheel I use?

Re:

No like he said, just make sure the threads on the freewheel match the thread on the hub and if it feels tight after a few turns when you put it on don't force it as you won't get it off again.

Thanks guys. I assume Bugloss is talking about English v French threads. I've already had the Sun Tour freewheel on and off the old Shimano hub easily - I'm guessing the Shimano freewheel will fit the Shimano hub nicely ... but with this game, you never know - I've had a few expensive disappointments :.(

Yeah! it's a bloody nightmare. I'm trying to get my head around Uniglide, Hyperglide, 8 speed and 9 speed hubs, chain rings, chains and cassettes
