Even though it's only 8:00 here in the UK the sun will be setting on the other side of the world. As such guess I'd best get the aftermath thread up ready for the first night riders.

Looking forward to seeing the first pics before I finish my breakfast

no ride pics from me, but I'll try and get some fettling shots that are vaguely aussie haha, not long now only 1 hour 50 mins to go!

at 8pm AEST time, I was fettling my current build Proflex. The downside to buying most of your stuff on eBay is the waiting game, never mind, nearly there..

now with added Vegemite!

Well I trapsed off down to the garage, when I realised that my ye oldie DB apex needs a seat.. that and I really wouldn't ride it at the moment (needs some tlc) and my other DB had some bits missing off it as I had been fiddling with it... woops... So if you don't mind I took the zaskar re-issue, which tbh is actually "retro" kinda type thing...

anyway as i'm an unfit lardo and had already been for a ride today, only went on a small ride (*cough*, small, *cough*...)...


but the bike is awesome, love it and had some fun...

can we do it in day time next time my phone camera doesn't liek the dark much

I managed to get out on 5 bikes this evening. Ok it wasn't at 20:00 but I started then and rode through to 21:30ish.

Took my grandfathers old bike out for a short ride too - had trouble keeping air in the tyres though.
