The MTB Museum has found his own spot in Arnhem. It's a great location for an impressive collection of mountainbikes.
To celebrate this achievement, let's get together, take a look at the museum, talk about old bikes and let's have a RetroRide.
Date is set on 3rd of November
Location
Kemperbergerweg 5a
6816 RM Arnhem
The Netherlands
Program
The timetable would be something like this:
09.00 - 11.00: Welcome
11.00 - 13.00: Indoor/outdoor activity and some food
13.00 - 16.00: RetroRide near Arnhem
16.00 - ……..: afterparty perhaps with some pancakes
The program is transformable to the circumstances.
Please be aware that this event is not the official opening. Not all the bikes will be present at this moment.
International guests
If foreign guests want to come to this event, you're more than welcome. It's possible to stay at the Museumlocation. Please, do not expect any hotel comfort, but warm shower and some cool retrobikes are nearby. You could stay on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Dutch Retrobikeriders are all over The Netherlands, so perhaps it's possible to arrange a pick-up at the airports (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, etc). You could bring your own retrobike, but do not be suprised if you´ll leave without it…
Please, drop me a PM with your thoughts....
Opening
The official opening will be in December, around Christmas or New year. Jeroen expects that the collection will be present and presentable at that point in time.
Help
Jeroen needs some help. There's a lot to do in/with the building. There's also some work to do with the bikes (for example: transportation from different locations to the museum).
Perhaps you're able to help. Please, drop me a PM and let's see what plans can be maked.
