31.8mm handlebar 1992

What straight bars came in 31.8mm in and around 1992-1993 ?
Im close to finishing the Verlucchi and was thinking of replacing the controltech oversized risers that are fitted at present as they are perhaps a bit too modern :?
There was a straight bar fitted but the previous owner was a roadie and had them cut really narrow,now i have the correct levers and shifters fitted there is no room for your hands ,the controltech risers were meant to be a stop gap till something better suited came along only im not sure of my options here

I'm not sure how they measure up, but I know that Alpinestars had oversized bars and stems in 1992.

I was thinking 'bollocks' myself [no offence dbmtb ]
1 1/4" verlucchi stem branded as such FROM 1992

The bar that came with it is very similar to yours :? [soon to be mine ]they could possibly be the same

I bought a no name bike with these fitted on
No surprise that they were out of standard on every size though!
Had a talk with a shop owner
He never heard of them too
Worth the extralight beauty anyway
