I rode my buddy's late 60's (somewhat beat up) Colnago Super in a century last summer, as I couldnt transport my own bike to the event. The bike still rode beautifully despite being almost 50 years old - very fast and stable. That's what I love about older bikes - buy something high quality and it will be truly a lifetime bike if cared for properly. My own rides are ll vintage as well.
I don't actually own a Colnago, sadly. My buddy's is the only one I've ever ridden. They're great bikes though, with a really cool racing heritage. I used to dream about owning one when I worked in shops back in the 80's.
I do have a couple of pretty capable road bikes that I'm happy with. But I'll always have great admiration for Colnago's as well.
