I got up to six 29ers, now I’m down to two. Both rigid. 26 is more a leisure ride and as that’s all I’ve been capable of this year, the big stuff went.
I got you. My 26ers seem pretty capable on the whole most of its down to rider fitness at the end of the day. I'm going to pay attention to tyres more now as fitting this combo to both this full sus and my old cb anteaus has given them a new lease of life. The cb flies now and is more than able to keep up with modern stuff on the medium terrain.
Where I ride there is usually a rear punctuire each ride in the group on the 29er HT when my 26er FS copes fine - and I dont get left behind - if anything I am faster uphill
