If so you'll need to be looking for a fork with a 1" steerer, not as common as the 1 1/8" equivalent

Not to put you off, but it took me the better part of a year to find a P2 with a 1" steerer for my '90 Lava Dome

...on more than one occasion I considered buying a whole bike just for the fork

They are out there though, you just have to be persistent!
