Here’s my non - NOS one I’ve just recently (luckily) received on a bike. it’s been ridden for 30 years , thrown around the garage for 2 months and still looks nicer

It was horrid condition before. Don’t be scared to buy a nasty one and polish it.

I know it’ll be frowned upon but I’ve even bought 27.2 ones in the past and polished off 0.2 at the same time. 27.0 is a nightmare to get it seems
