I’ve a holdsworth cyclone 1966, want to use it for winter rides but has steel rims, a bit rusty … anyone have a nice pair with good hubs and alloy rims? QR preferred
You might find it easier to fit Tektro R556 long drop calipers and 700C wheels - gives you oodles of tyre choice and space for mudguards, which would make winter rides more comfortable. It was a very successful swap on my Witcomb.
