26" tanwall tyres

What does one do when trying to get a pair of tanwalls in the above size.

I appreciate there is a market for nos ones and also period correct ones, but is there a source for either new style tanwalls in 26" flavour or maybe even reproduction ones.

Any guidance or experience on this would be gratefully received.

Is there a tread type you're looking for?
I picked up a pair of these for my BMX single speed budget project. So far they seem like they're a decent paved conditions tire.

Schwalbe Billy Bonkers - fast tread and it's surprisingly grippy apart from in mud.

NOS amberwalss are out there if you look & not always mega expensive.
For me the right tyres are the key to a good retro build. A lot of the modern tyres are waay too tall in the sidewall & just look plain wrong on our old frames.
