26" Carbon Wheels/ Front Fork

Hello,
Please I would welcome advice.
I am thinking of sourcing the above for my bike.
I wonder as to the benefit though of carbon wheels and a front rigid fork.
Also what would be recommended, whether they are still produced and if so where would I buy them from ?
Thank you,
Dezza.

I've run an eXotic rigid front fork for a couple of years on my main bike (a singlespeed). It gets ridden all year round. They replaced a Kona triple butted P2. The fork is no lighter than the P2, steers equally well (none of the mushiness and twisting of some suspension forks) and takes more of the buzz out if riding. However it's no lighter than the TB P2. Its looks (lacquer etc) have also lasted.
