26.8mm seat post - SORTED

I would like a +300mm post to put on a cheap 'n' nasty station hack.

Any old tat will do, I can swap my tat for your tat if that helps

I can have a brand new one eBay for a tenner, so less than that, please.

Black or silver is fine, black would look better. I do have one but the teeth / splines are well worn on the head.

I have a drum of Clarke's outer in 4mm (gear) and 5mm (brake) both in black. Shimano inner gear cables are only £1.69 at Halfords, so there's no point in sending you those!

Sory SP, but can't help in that case - shipping from Pl will takes even a bit more than new post incl postage from ebay

Got what appears to be a slightly bent USE shocker post and shim that no longer bounces. You can have it for postage and the cost of a large packet of Tyrells salt and vinegar crisps.

Coo! Too good for a station hack, that! Someone here will give that some love and mount it on a garage queen - nice price though Thanks for the offer.

For reference, the whole bike a 1994 GT Outpost (missing a seat post, saddle and inner tube) cost me £6.50!

I've fitted new pads for £2.05 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RITCHEY-LP-LO ... 1dHjdlFenw a new chain, inner tube and grips. I had a scruffy saddle. It is destined for life as a hack where some toe-rag will probably nick the saddle and seat post anyway :roll: hence the desire for something tatty - but sound.

I don't mind spending £10.95 on a seat post, but it seems pointless on a tatty bike that'll live outside.
