26.8 seatpost + any 7sp wheels

Having paid full price for a 27.00 as that's what I was told I needed I'm now after a 26.8 on the cheap to see if this is the size it actually is, as the 27.00 was too big

Also after some very cheap anything will do 7sp wheels

I've got a 26.6mm strong seatpost that came as standard on my '88 Stumpjumper Comp - swapped it out for an XC pro after a few rides.

Ok right sorry for delay, this sounds like an excellent idea to me, the one i've got is nothing special as I wasn't convinced it was the size I needed but if your happy I'm happy. I've just bought a 26.8 and needed 2 of them so you would be able to sort me out with the swap.
