So, at last it is complete. Bag support fitted. First ride was actually very pleasant. A quiet solid smooth bike. Really undramatic. XTR rear mech works well. Shifters allow one,two or three cogs at once. very nice. The conditions weren't the best for riding what with ice hanging around in shaded stretches, damp roads and major accidents. Stuck to low known roads.


Made a little detour to a place not too far from here that had to be visited on the first ride. How could I not?



29 miles and she didn't put a foot wrong.

Oh and I nearly fell off at the first junction in the village. I'd tightened up the spds. :facepalm:

Not a fan of guards and luggage bags personally, but I have to say the rest of the bike looks great! Lovely colour too, well done fella

Flask, cake, gingernuts, camera, phone, toolkit, jacket, energy bar, had to go somewhere.

As for guards. My cleft remained arid.

This is a tourer. I have a little something on the way for your style of 'riding'.

Well i'm a fair bit late noticing this thread and now i've found it i wish i hadn't because now i've got an itch that i can't afford to scratch just yet :facepalm: , well good work fella your bike is a real credit to you ..
