Re: 25" Overbury's Connoisseur in need of TLC
i was referring to the blanket !! what i meant was some bikes on these images are chipped and scared to
bits. my lemond is certainly. but when they get uploaded on these sites they look really good [not saying yours is bad though]
Re: 25" Overbury's Connoisseur in need of TLC
It is pretty bad and you're right, the images do flatter. As for the blanket, it's a dog towel I stole. Mrs HM is being very patient.
Thank you for allowing us inside your head.
Ford Matisse blue seemed the best match. £5.79 fir a touch up pen or £6.99 for a big can so bought the can. I always have a few of the paper macdonalds sauce pots for just such an occasion.
Bodged but better than it was and any further tin worms prevented for a while longer.
Edit: mrs HM is no longer patient. The smell of the paint was the final straw. It's now on my desk for the night. All further fettling in the shed of love.
A few hours spent on the old girl yesterday. Almost there.......
Been setting up the jake for night riding so this will have to wait till next weekend. Chain soaking. Are new mudguards still a pain to fit? Hoods went on fairly easily with levers removed. Very pleasing so far.
