Re:
Been for a couple of off road rides on the bike now, and I am happy with it. The first ride, an early, pre work ride, around an hour. Then yesterdays ride of around 35 miles. Pretty upright riding position, which is helping my back, although i can still get flat! brakes that work well, although I may well swap them over to right/rear. Need to figure out how to cut the hoses and fit olives first though. Then I'll need to get some oil and bleed hose I guess.
The forks work well, just need to lower the pressure to get full travel. The bars are so wide, at 720mm, so on some of my regular trails, I've been getting wet hands from the foliage! It also feels pretty light, although I've not weighed it yet. Anyway, here's a few photos for you
Welcome to your first bridleway!

Not sure if it was low cloud, or fog, but definitely not the camera this time!

And finally, a drop that I'm still not confident about, so went around. Even after seeing some others just go straight down it. Looks a lot steeper than in the photo!
