Selling on behalf of a friend off the back of a "You know about bikes. I don't use this, can you sell it for me" and the subsequent challenging conversation as to why it isn't worth much despite the XT mech.
2012 Cube Acid - Mid range hardtail
Nice condition, hasn't been used much. Just the odd bit of corrosion on the bolts.
Size Large. 10 speed XT rear mech and Deore everything else.
Shimano/Alex wheels with Conti Double Fighter Semi Slicks
100mm Easton stem swapped out for shorter Crank Bros (orginal included for potential scaffolding use). Easton bars and seatpost.
Bar ends removed and grips replaced (you can have the bar ends if you want them)
Recon Air forks with remote lockout
DMR pedals, can't remember the model
I’ve given the bike a bit of a clean up and bled the brakes. They squeal a bit but work perfect, probably nothing new pads or ear plugs wouldn’t fix. Gears work perfectly. Front lockout seems good. All together it’s a nice bike. Would make a great commuter, pub bike, light trail bike for the taller rider.
