Re: new project start
Hiya, you're in safe hands here, post 1998 club are a friendly and nicely diverse crowd. Not seen any cliquey or judgemental attitudes either. I can't say I know a lot about you bike so I might need a brief history lesson, but orange is always a brill colour and it does look nicely serious and smart. Good work so far. I'm also in the nervous about alu club, but then I've massively indulged in several over engineered bombproof bikes after indulging in horror stories online too much, and I have a Nishiki Alien that seems beyond repar. :-( ... But go ahead so far so good, just keep working steady and keep an eye on the frame structure and weld area regularly and same with BB keep an eye on it can always get new set up if it works loose but of its tensioned like shimano hollow axle style it should stay snug. Keep us posted....
Ps my latest build is a super light alloy commuter. So I have faith...
