For sale is my 2009 Commencal Flame Ti, as a frame only or a whole bike.
I have loved this bike to bits, it has served me well over the unfortunately marginally small time frame I've owned it for. It's a very rare frame, I've seen only a handful up for sale previously on different websites. Now, the reason why most people wouldn't buy this exact frame is due to the fact it has unfortunately cracked. It's definitely weldable, I just am looking for something else, preferably a bit more modern. Again, I love this bike and my plan was to be it's owner for as long as possible, however that hasn't worked out in my case. I've seen the frame go for upwards of 400, so I will take around £120, give or take, for it. For the whole bike however, around £250 would be my price point as it had basically everything serviced, fixed or replaced where needed to. A rundown of the specs for interested buyers:
- Commencal Titanium frame
- Adjustable rear dropouts (heard they can even fit 27.5 wheels at a push, however I am unsure of this).
- Fulcrum Red power XL rear wheel paired with a Maxxis 2.25 tire (forgot the model)
- DT Swiss 420SL front wheel paired with a Schwalbe Magic Mary 2.5
- SRAM X-0 Anniversary Edition 9 Speed Rear Mech
- Fox 32 Factory series 2 RL (Rebound & Lockout)
- Shimano Hollow tech BB & Cranks
- Cane Creek Headset
- Shimano MT200 Brake set
- Burgtec headset spacers and top cap
- Odi grips
- Raceface atlas handlebars
- Amazon "wake" stem that has served me well
Overall this is a really well specked bicycle, and it's a shame to see it go. As stated before it is CRACKED AND WILL NEED WELDING, however it is a sweet ride. I will take around £120 for the frame alone and £250 for the whole bike. Birmingham area.
