i've always observed with a great curiosity the dirt bikes, but i've never had one... until... until three days ago 
I've searching a pair of crossmax for the RM vertex, and i've found a really nice kit with frame (this kona), an early era RS pike (i've got one on the RMslayer and I love it simplicity) with the Mavic... so.... thanks to some leftovers and some unpaired components i've assembled this bike, and it's so damn funny!
I'll start with this configuration
Frame: KONA scrap - 2007
Fork: RockShox Recon TK silver solo air
Headset: Ritchey WCS 1,1/8" external, standard
Habdlebar: Bontrager 620mm flat
Stem: Ritchey Comp 35° 70mm
Grips: unknown, i take them from a "butterfly" handlebar expertiment that i've used on an old roadie bike
Seatclamp: Unknown
Seatpost: DaBomb 30.0 x 350
Saddle: SDG BelAir
Brake levers: FRM Hidraulic
Brakes: FRM hidraulic
Disc: Shimano deore 160mm center-lock (rear)

Rear der.: Campagnolo mirage 9v used like a chain tensioner
Front der.: -
Cassette: Shimano Deore 12-34 - 9 Speed
