Looks a real drag racer.
I do like 1x on a road bike. Having ridden a cx bike 1x for the last 20 years i just really like the simplicity of it. I get that when you're racing you might want a close ratio block and a double so that you can match subtle changes in pace, but if you're not racing i don't see it as such an issue.

My recent long and low cross frame i had made for me.

I had some decals made that Jon (Chickens) doesn't like very much, but i do. Also trying out a stem with 20mm of damping. Like a much better version of the old proflex.

how's the ride on, what, 25s?

i think yours is more like ~'06 though ya? wasn't that the first year for triomphe?
