I really wish they would toss on a good 1X drivetrain & some decent brakes to level the playing field. Even some old XT 4 pots should do better than that janky Avid they have on there. In fact I have some in my garage, perhaps I should offer to donate.
Good to see that old bike getting some love. I've got a set of those shivers sitting in my garage as wall art not that they are no longer needed on a friends DH Bike. He was always getting good comments at the DH park from all the old guys. Still worked great after slathering some slickoleum under the seals.
